The definition of identity starts with a background. I am lucky to have many. Arguably, the list of places that I consider home at a certain moment reflects my work. I am an immigrant from Ukraine, a citizen in Hungary, a student at Scotland, Switzerland, and England. Thus, throughout my life, there have been continual mobility. As a consequence, metamorphosis, movement, and fluidity are the three whales that are the foundation of my current practice. At its core, my work explores the ideas of contemporary metaphysics while reflecting the intensity and pattern of the flux. I am fascinated by the relationship between materiality, time, and form that are communicated through diverse imagery. A hybrid between printmaking, intuitive drawing, and digital media embodies the communication of these ideas.
